HOPEWELL — Hopewell Police have released a photo and description of the man they say robbed an Oaklawn Boulevard convenience store Monday night and got away. A surveillance photo of the suspect was

HOPEWELL — Hopewell Police have released a photo and description of the man they say robbed an Oaklawn Boulevard convenience store Monday night and got away.

A surveillance photo of the suspect was put out Tuesday afternoon. It shows a man between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-10 and between 170-190 pounds walking into the BP Gas station around 6:40 p.m. Monday. Moments later, police said, the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded all the money from the cash register, running away from the scene after getting the cash.

In the photo, the suspect is wearing a black hooded sweatshiirt, orange safety vest, gray sweatpants and black tennis shoes. He had a light-colored covering over his face.

No one was injured in the robbery. Police did not say how much cash the suspect got.
